3. Target Jans — Peter Lake’s high school buddy. A former high school, college, and professional football athlete and now a publisher of a small newspaper near Riverside, California. Thirty years of age.

4. Parker Shulman — A second high school buddy of Peter Lake and friend of Target Jans. Runs a hardware store in Carleton.

5. Coach Don Decker — Current high school football coach. Two years older than Peter, Target and Parker. A graduate of Carleton High School. Thirty-one years of age.

6. Merilee Johns — Friend of Jane Lake. A boutique small business person. Thirty- four years of age. Has a seventeen year old daughter, a senior at Carleton High School. Merilee was seventeen when she and Jake married.

7. Sassy Johns — Daughter of Jake and Merrilee Johns. A Carleton High School Senior and cheerleader.

8. Jake John — High School buddy of Peter Lake. A small business plumber in Carleton. A great dancer. A well known stud in Carleton. He excites people when he dances. Had professional dance lessons. Was most popular in his high school graduating class.

9. Babette Jacques — The Lake Family’s long time cook. Babette specializes in pastry cooking and French cooking. She is sixty years of age.

10. Lance Harlow — Carleton High School senior. Top athlete on the football and basketball teams. Close friend of Sassy Johns.

11. Dr. Howie England — Administrator for Carleton University’s ‘University Hospital’.

12. Detective Chelton — A detective from the city of Carleton.
