Thank
You, Lee Harris! Vaya con dios
Lee Harris
came to Holy Trinity in October, 2008, for an "alternate ministry
experience" in his preparation for ordination to the Vocational
Diaconate. (Lee will be ordained a Vocational Deacon in just a few
months.) During his nine months with us, Lee has served at the altar,
preached, taught adult classes on Wednesday evening, visited our youth
and Godly Play classes, planned Holy Week liturgies, and participated
in almost every activity in our parish. He has truly enriched our
parish life and Christian fellowship and we are immensely grateful;
but it is now time for Lee to return to his sponsoring parish - St.
Mark's, Upland. As you journey on towards ordination, our love and our prayers
follow. |

Flowers
for the Altar
Adopt a
Sunday to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, remember loved ones, or
give thanks for a special blessing. Sign up on the Flower Chart in the
Parish Hall. Cost of two bouquets for the altar is only $45.00. What a
deal! And the florist will send you a bill. Share a Sunday with
someone and split the cost. If you want to take your donated flowers
home, see Lois Woolverton regarding removing them from the Altar. |

Food Pantry
The numbers of those who are coming to the Food
Bank are increasing rapidly, making it harder for the Pantry to meet
all the needs. Your donations of non-perishable food and personal
hygiene supplies are appreciated. Please place all items in the
grocery cart at the back of the church for this very important
ministry. |
